Technical Triage answers your questions
LEEA is encouraging any member in the world to send in any technical question they may have by email to: technicaladvice@leeaint.com. This is the first port of call for the LEEA Technical Triage system, which aims to deliver a final resolution to a question within 48 hours.
LEEA can announce that a total of 476 enquires were responded to between 2 January and 4 July (408 being from members). In terms of the queries’ geographical origins: 416 came from the UK and republic of Ireland, 23 from the Middle East, 10 from Africa, 10 from Asia, 8 from the Americas, 7 from the rest of Europe and 2 from Australia and New Zealand.
The Technical Triage was established to improve and expand the LEEA Technical FAQ; monitor industrial issues to identify shortfalls in standards, LEEA Guidance, Legislation and industrial practices for improvement purposes; maintain a single LEEA interpretation of legislation, standards and industrial best practice; and enable the association to better manage; focus our technical resources on the critical problems; identify training requirements; protect LEEA by keeping documented records of all advice given; and improve the quality and response time to our members.
No matter where you are in the world, please email your question to: technicaladvice@leeaint.com.
